The Lord anoints us for DESTINY & PURPOSE. He chooses our mission and our assignments: and He gives each of us the AUTHORITY & ANOINTING for all of it.
He also PROVES & TRAINS us through various experiences; so we will be ready for EVERY GOOD WORK, and be a proven vessel that is fit for the Masters use. {2.Tim.2:20-21}
He anoints us by HIS SPIRIT which empowers our spirit, mind, and body to perform the tasks GIVEN TO US. {Eph.3:16}
St.Matthew 22:37~…..Thou shall love the Lord thy God with ALL your heart, and with ALL your soul, and with ALL your mind. This is the FIRST & GREAT commandment.
This was Jesus answer to one of the Pharisee Lawyers who came to tempt by trying to TRAP HIM THROUGH QUESTIONS.
Our FIRST PRIORITY & DUTY is to God by loving & serving Him with all that’s within us: then others are next. Jesus made it clear that our Father God is second to NONE: but are to become FIRST to all.
According to Hebrews 3:1~3 { Once we have learned to live & walk in the BASIC principles of doctrine of Christ; and have laid the FOUNDATIONAL TEACHINGS of Christ in our lives; then we are to MOVE ON FROM THERE, and continue building our life upon the rest of the revelations and teachings that we obtain from the Holy Spirit, and from the body of Christ. }
We are told what a few of the FOUNDATIONS OF CHRIST are, which is the following: { 1) Repentance is a first foundation: 2.) Faith toward God for salvation: 3.) Laying on of hands: 4) Resurrection from the dead: 5) Eternal Judgement: } All these are foundational basics of the Christian life.
Everyone knows that you must have a foundation before you can build a house, and it must be SOLID & SECURE in order for the house to stand secure: and LIKEWISE, we must have at least these principles in our life to have, and live, a Good Godly life before the Lord.
It is imperative for us to read the bible, and study, and pray, and meditate God’s Word; along with other good material guides; in order to continue to GROW IN CHRIST, and in our faith.
When we think of a Legacy: we are reminded of either what a person has ACCOMPLISHED OR CONTRIBUTED in their lifetime.
The Apostle Paul along with many other men of God; was a man of GREAT CHRISTIAN DEEDS & WORKS: we can all pretty much agree that what THE LORD did through him, has truly furnished us with much CHRISTIAN KNOWLEDGE & LEARNING by the Holy Ghost, as concerning the Lord Jesus Christ, and the plan of salvation.
Now! what WE need to think about as far as our own Legacy: is what we will be REMEMBERED FOR; and HOW have we inspired others as far as their SOUL SALVATION is concerned; and the kind of life we have WALKED & LIVED in honor to the Lord. At the end of our days on earth; can we say like the Apostle Paul did………
{ I have fought a good fight, I have finished mu course, I have kept the faith?……….} Will you be able to look over your life and say that~ with CONVICTION & HONESTY? Think about it.
{Genesis 1:27~So God created man in His own image; in the image of God, created He him; male and female created He them.} Your REAL identity was established in the beginning of time: not just at your birth.
There is no reason for anyone to have an Identity CRISIS. You are made in the IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF GOD~ YOUR CREATOR.~Gen.1:26 & 5:1
Our character, and personalities are different for each of us: but we all are created MALE OR FEMALE in the image of God.
Now! when it comes to nature; then we are all born with an ADAMIC nature: but that doesn’t mean that you have to have a Crisis about it. YOU ARE YOU~that’s all.
Be yourself, and don’t try to BE OR BECOME someone that you’re not; just to please others. Bottom line is~ just choose to be happy with WHO GOD MADE YOU.
{2.Samuel 11:27/ 2 Sam.12:1-12} These two chapters talk about King David & Bathsheba. Most of us know the story already; but David’s character had DECLINED at this point, and he committed ADULTERY & MURDER for no reason other than selfishness and Lust: and as we know, the thing DISPLEASED THE LORD, because God anointed him as King, and gave him everything he desired, but THIS SHOWS US how God disdains an UNJUST CHARACTER, and CROOKED BEHAVIOR, & A DECEITFUL TONGUE.
You see, we need a certain LEVEL of character to be on a particular LEVEL in God. In other words, we need INTEGRITY, HONESTY, & and a sense of FAIRNESS built in us. Why? because God does not take delight in elevating people who are UNJUST, DISHONEST, & are not guided by TRUTH.
If we are going to walk with God on a higher plane of Glory, Giftedness, & Spiritual Favor; then our lives and disposition has to meet HIS STANDARDS, and our worship & behavior has to be what He says it ought to be.
The reason I say “CHARACTER” is because sooner or later, if we are PRETENDING to be something that we’re not~in public or in private, then it will EVENTUALLY manifest the real is: and God is not pleased with any of us SHAMING HIM before the world, or bringing DISHONOR to His great name, of applying DISGRACE to the body of Christ.~CHM
(St.Jh. 5:26-27~For as the Father hath life in Himself; so hath He give to the Son to have life in Himself; and hath given Him AUTHORITY to execute judgement also, because He is the Son of man.)
Jesus authority did not come from MAN: it came from GOD. Listen, when you go out into the world on a MISSION, or an ASSIGNMENT; make sure that God sent you. Now, I am not talking about an Errand or task that somebody wants you to go fulfill: I am talking a CALLING, DESTINY, OR PURPOSE, as being chosen by the Lord to do something.
Jesus authority was NOTICED by others, so that they KNEW it was authentic and UNDISPUTED; because He did not teach them as the scribes and Pharisees did; relying on the confirmation and approval of others, or like legal experts & scholars: but rather as on HIS OWN Spiritual Intuition, and as one who had authority ALL BY HIMSELF~St.Mt.7:29.
If you go on an assignment, make sure that GOD SENT YOU, and not MAN. Be certain that HE chose you for that purpose. So many preachers, teachers, and prophets were SOLELY ordained by man, and God had nothing to do with it: they WENT, but they were not SENT. They were not sent with the authority of GOD: they went with the authority of man, and there is a big difference between the two.
If your CALLING did not come from man; then your authority didn’t come from man either. If God CHOSE you; then He will back you UP; even when everyone else wants you to back DOWN. You see, although people may not say nothing to you about it; but most of them can tell when you are TRULY CALLED BY GOD, and anointed by Him in what you do. Listen! most people are smarter than they look, even though they are silent.
One more thing before I leave this message: Authority is not you screaming, shouting, yelling or fussing. Authority comes from WITHIN~ not without. It is God’s Spirit in your voice, and His anointing is in the SOUND of your voice, and thus, He is validating what you say. People will HEAR GOD in your words and speech.
St. Mark. 5:25-28 { And a certain woman, which had an ISSUE of blood 12 years, and had SUFFERED many things of many physicians, and had spent ALL that she had, and was nothing better, but rather grew WORSE, when she HEARD of Jesus, came in THE PRESS behind, and Touched His garment: for she said, if I may but touch His clothes, I shall be WHOLE. }
Now, this woman was truly sick. She had done everything that she could do, to try and help HERSELF, and she spend ALL she had to try and get WELL: but instead of getting better, she GREW WORSE. When Jesus FAME got around, and she heard of His MIRACLES on others; then her FAITH increased to the point that she headed out to find this man called Jesus of Nazareth.
She said WITHIN HERSELF( she said nothing to others) but within herself; that if she could TOUCH JUST HIS CLOTHES; then she would be whole~(complete, healed). She had so much faith in Jesus that she didn’t even need Him to speak, or lay hands on her, etc.~ but she knew that whatever POWER He had flowing through His body~ that it had to be also in His CLOTHES.
Thus, she started in the crowd Press, and she got Blessed. She got her Blessing in her Pressing. If she has waited, and not went for herself; then she would probably have missed her blessings of being healed. Beloved, I encourage you to go to the Lord for yourself, and add your faith to what you need, so you can obtain the PROMISE OF LIFE in Christ Jesus, and the receive the blessings of what God has for you.
{St.Matthew 23: verses 25-28} Jesus is talking to the Jewish Leaders. He is making a parable of comparing OUTWARD THINGS unto INWARD conditions of the heart. In reality, Jesus is telling them how hypocritical they are being; by doing things that make them LOOK RIGHTEOUS OUTWARDLY to others, but deep inside their heart, they are full of hypocrisy ( pretense) and iniquity ( sins ).
You know, even unto this day, there are some people who APPEAR to the public as being holy, sanctified, and unstained: but when God begins to UNCOVER, AND UNVEIL them on a constant basis; then we understand that we were only seeing the SURFACE of what was appearing to be right. Now, please understand that only God can see an individual’s spirit (heart ) unless He reveals it to you through DISCERNMENT or through the gift of discerning of spirits.
Jesus was telling many of the Leaders that they appear to men as WHITE SEPULCHERS ( clean & pure) but inwardly were full of dead men’s bones (lifeless & dead). He said they also APPEAR RIGHTEOUS unto men, but within are full of HYPOCRISY & INIQUITY { deception & wickedness}
In other words, people can seem to be without Reproach, but yet they are also without Repentance: they can look obviously Pure, but yet be absolutely Profane: they can be perceived visibly as being Great, but yet inside they are full of filthy lucre & GREED. That’s why we should not just look at the TREE, but inspect the FRUIT that it is revealing: because God will eventually show you the GENUINE ROOT. {Take heed that you be not deceived}
I believe that God VIEWS our Motives for doing something~ as MORE important than He does our Actions in doing it.
The Lord wants us to do the right thing for the RIGHT reasons, and not be doing the right thing for THE WRONG REASONS.
You see, Motives are related to the HEART, not to our emotions. God looks at the core ROOT and the INNER being of us, and He can discern EVERYTHING. (Hebrews 4:12)
He is the one who SEARCHES our heart, and SEEKS to clear us of any guilt or UnGodly thing in us. He searches our heart NOT to find faults & flaws (because He already know we have them) but to make us AWARE of our issues that need to be DEALT WITH. (PSALM.139:23-24)
Proverbs 16:2 says (“ All the ways of a man are clean IN HIS OWN EYES; but the Lord WEIGHS the Spirit.”) The Lord is not weighing your body; He is weighing your spirit: in other words, He judges your MOTIVES, and examines your INTENTS. When He weighs you; He is the one who Determines, Observes, and Inspects the CAUSES of our actions.
You see, in our own eyes, we may think that we are RIGHT & INNOCENT, or even justifiable about things we say or do: but it is the Lord who makes the FINAL ANALYSIS after looking at our heart.
Now granted; we all should examine our heart in everything; but sometimes we don’t do a very good job, and that’s when God steps in and pulls our secrets out of the closet and shows them unto US, and says “ you forgot to deal with this of that, etc”.
The Lord deals with our spirit, and then illuminates our minds to see the light of His knowledge concerning the details of OUR OWN LIFE. Always be honest with God; because He knows how to put us on the SCALES of justice, and weigh us in the balance.
Psalms 84:11 is stated ” The Lord God is a Sun and Shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: NO GOOD THING will He withhold from them that walk upright”.
The Lord does not keep good things away from His people when they are walking in His favor, and living in His purpose.
This verse says that He doesn’t withhold GOOD things: which also means that if something is NOT good for you, or is harmful to you; then He withholds only those things from you; even though YOU may think it is good.
If it is NOT GOOD, and in your best interest; then like a good father; the Lord will BLOCK it from your life. It is His Will that ONLY goodness and mercy follow you all the days of your life on this earth.
